How Binary AIQ processes personal data.

This notice applies to visitors of binaryaiq.com, users of the Binary AIQ platform, and individuals who correspond with us. It is issued under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.

Section 1

The data fiduciary.

Binary AIQ Technologies Private Limited (“Binary AIQ”, “we”) is the data fiduciary for personal data processed through binaryaiq.com and the Binary AIQ marketing surfaces. For personal data processed through the Binary AIQ platform by our customers, the customer is the data fiduciary and Binary AIQ is the data processor acting on documented instructions.

Section 2

Categories, purposes and lawful basis.

Contact details
Name, work email, employer, role. Collected when you request a demo, contact us or download a resource. Lawful basis: consent (marketing) and legitimate use for pre-contractual steps.
Account records
Name, email, organisation, role and authentication metadata for platform users. Lawful basis: performance of the customer contract.
Product telemetry
Feature usage, error diagnostics and performance data. Lawful basis: legitimate use to operate and secure the service.
Support correspondence
Emails, ticket content and attachments. Lawful basis: performance of the customer contract.
Marketing analytics
First-party analytics on binaryaiq.com. No third-party tracking scripts are set in the marketing site. Lawful basis: consent where required.
Customer-processed data
Personal data our customers process through the platform is handled per their instructions under the Data Processing Addendum. Binary AIQ does not use this data for any secondary purpose.
Section 3

Retention.

Sales enquiries
24 months from last interaction, unless a customer relationship has commenced
Customer account data
Duration of the subscription and 90 days thereafter for wind-down, then deleted
Support tickets
36 months from ticket closure
Security and audit logs
12 months in hot storage, up to 7 years in cold storage per regulatory requirements
Marketing analytics
13 months from event capture
Section 4

Sharing and transfers.

We share personal data only with vetted sub-processors, listed in our Trust Center, and only to the extent necessary for the stated purpose. Every sub-processor is bound by written contract with security and confidentiality obligations.

Primary storage is in Mumbai (ap-south-1). Cross-border transfers are made only to jurisdictions not restricted by the Central Government under DPDP Section 16 and under appropriate contractual safeguards.

We do not sell personal data. We do not train shared models on customer content.

Section 5

Your rights as a data principal.

Right of access
Request confirmation and a summary of the personal data we hold about you (DPDP §11)
Right of correction and erasure
Ask us to correct inaccurate data or erase data no longer necessary (DPDP §12)
Right of grievance redressal
Escalate to the Grievance Officer — response within 7 days (DPDP §13)
Right to nominate
Nominate another individual to exercise your rights on your behalf (DPDP §14)
Right to withdraw consent
Withdraw consent at any time, with the same ease as it was given (DPDP §6)
How to exercise
Email privacy@binaryaiq.com from the address of record. We verify identity before responding.
Section 6

Grievance Officer.

In accordance with DPDP Section 8(9) and Section 13, Binary AIQ has designated a Grievance Officer for the resolution of complaints relating to personal data processing.

Contact: grievance@binaryaiq.com. Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 7 days. If you remain dissatisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Section 7

Changes to this notice.

Material changes to this notice are announced by email to registered users at least 15 days before they take effect. Every version is archived and available on request.
